I have to say, I love working with Joan.  We have so much fun together… we’re like an old married couple, always thinking the same things and finishing each others sentences!! Our studio sessions mostly feature Joan and I bossing each other around, making sure we get the best shots possible, her telling me to move the ladder and me telling her to try it from another angle and both of us telling our fabulous clients to keep their knees together!!!! (You know who you are!)

I have learned so much from her over the last year and am proud to say that on this shoot with the gorgeous Miss N, I took the camera and clicked the shutter and captured some of these beautiful images. It felt so good and I found myself jumping up and down with excitement after the shoot and even more so when we had finished editing!

Thank you Joan, for selflessly welcoming me into your world and teaching me all you know. I still have a long way to go, but it feels good to be part of something inspiring and fun that we both love! xxx

Happy Spring everyone!!! It has arrived ( I think…). The weather over Easter was such a welcoming treat…. I enjoyed it almost as much as I did all of the chocolate! ( and boy, let me tell you, I know how to enjoy chocolate…).

We have been busy with some interesting shoots the past couple of weeks, outdoors and in, even in the cloudy, cool weather. Hopefully we will be able to post some of these when finished, but today’s post is of one of the gals from CREAM Hair and Make Up Lounge

here in Kelowna and in West Kelowna. We love these guys! Check them out here. They are a fab group and both Claire and I , as well as our kids, get our hair done there. They also are the incredible make up gals who we use for our Boudoir packages and they always do a great job…….
